Dear Parents,
We are excited for this opportunity to invite your children,
grades 2nd - 6th, to participate in Club Cougar, the after school program at
Amsterdam Elementary School. The
program offers a study hall as well as activities based on Club Zoom and
4H. We also do craft projects,
plays, Missoula Children's Theatre, and a Science Fair. This form must be completed and
returned to the school prior to your children's eligibility to participate in
the program. (Students will be
required to pre-register for Club Cougars and study hall by returning a weekly
newsletter slip.)
If you are interested in having your student(s) participate,
please fill out the bottom of this form
and visit the school website to print out the permission to participation form and return them both by Thursday, October 28th. There is also a calendar of events for
Club Cougars for the month of October on the school website as well.
So far in the past, we've been able to offer Club Cougars to
Amsterdam students at no cost. If
you are interested in helping to provided supplies or healthy snacks, please
contact us. Also, throughout the
year, we might ask for donations to obtain supplies for crafts, costumes, or to
help pay for busing if we go on a field trip.
The program will start with two days a week in November from
after school until 5:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays when school is in session. In December we will be going to 3 days
a week, Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We do provide your student(s) with a healthy snack and
drink. You can pick up your
students between 5:00 and 5:15 in the north parking lot.
