Information Session for Kindergarten and First Grade
Thursday, August 6th
6:30 PM
Multipurpose Room
All parents of kindergarten and first grade students are asked to attend this information session. The purpose of the meeting is to present and explain plans of adding a K-1 combination grade for this coming school year. Mr. Galvin, Mrs. Holborn and Mrs. Beals will be taking parent input and answer questions.

2nd Grade - Mrs. Devore
Here are the supplies you will need to bring on the first day of school.
- 10 - 20 #2 lead pencils
- 1 package of pencil top erasers
- Red pen
- CRAYOLA crayons (CRAYOLA is necessary so that it doesn’t melt and run in the laminator)
- CRAYOLA markers
- Highlighters
(Please bring 1 yellow, 1 blue, 1 green, and 1 pink. These colors are
important for coding main ideas, details, etc. in our writing. Thanks!)
- 4 whiteboard markers (please buy the low odor markers)
- Whiteboard eraser
- 1 package small size sticky notes
- 8 - 10 glue sticks
- Scissors
- Ruler
- 3 ring binder
- 1 ream of loose leaf lined paper
- 3 Spiral notebooks
- 1 wide ruled composition book
- 4 Pocket folders
- Paint shirt
- Package of 3X5 index cards
- 3X5 index
card box (Please bring the hard plastic style. The skinnier vinal style
isn’t large enough and doesn’t hold up as well.)
- 3X5 A-Z index card dividers
- Water bottle with a tight fitting lid
- 2 rolls of paper towels
- 1 box of Kleenex
- 1 shoe box (Bring more if you have any you’re wanting to get rid of. We can use as many as we can get.)
- Any old magazines your family doesn’t want anymore that have pictures we can cut out.
Optional:
- Pillow for reading time
- CRAYOLA colored pencils
- Water color paints
- Sketch pad or drawing pad
