Mr. Ovenell has been a school counselor for most of the last 29 years. He grew up in Bellevue, WA, a suburb of Seattle. His teaching degree is from Washington State University, and his Master's degree is from Montana State University. He is married to Theresa, and they have three children, Justin, Ryan and Julie, all in high school at Manhattan Christian School. His hobbies include reading, listening to music, bike riding, and watching football games. This is his third year at Amsterdam School.
