Mrs. Kocyba has been a teacher for some 30 years. She has taught in Juneau, Alaska for most of that time in the areas of math, special education and technology. Before coming to Bozeman, all of her teaching experience had been with middle school and high school students. She now loves working with the elementary students at Amsterdam School and finds it very rewarding! She has a Master's Degree in Special Education and a second Master's Degree in Educational Technology. After moving to Bozeman, she attended Montana State University where she received an Educational Specialist Degree. She met her husband, Tom, while attending Purdue University. Both her and her husband are avid Purdue Boilermaker fans. She enjoys watching sports and participating in any outdoor activities - especially walking her dog Buster.
