Patty Larios
Ms. Larios grew up in Butte, Montana and has lived in the Gallatin Valley since 2001. She has taught music in Butte, Willow Creek, and the Bozeman area. She has been teaching music at Amsterdam School since 2008.
Ms. Larios studied music performance at the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana, and earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Montana State University in Bozeman. In addition to Amsterdam School, she teaches private lessons on piano and woodwinds. She is an active musician as well as a teacher. She is the principal clarinetist in the Butte Symphony Orchestra and occasionally plays with the Butte Big Band. When she is not teaching, she enjoys quilting, reading, practicing piano and clarinet, movies, outdoor activities, and her pets. She is an avid bird watcher. She has two grown children, a daughter, Lauren, and son, Paul.
